Company Description

Paul Challis and Graham Lafferty, the Directors of Triton Scaffolding Ltd, became good friends at the age of 5. Upon leaving school at 16, both decided to enter the construction industry and train as scaffolders. They completed their C.I.T.B. apprenticeships with G.K.N Mills in 1986. They progressed to gain further experience working within "High Risk industries", for example power stations, oil refineries and gas installations both on and off shore. Upon returning to Bournemouth, they discovered that local scaffolding contractors were frequently giving poor service and that the Health and Safety practices that Paul and Graham had adopted were almost non existent on site locally. With a substantial opening in the Southern market for a reliable, safe and high quality scaffolding company fully implementing current Health and Safety legislation, Triton Scaffolding Ltd was formed.
